"We literally just moved to Delanson from Greene County and with our new house still packed up we decided to go out to eat. We said let’s try Tarassa’s Italian Restaurant in Delanson, and needless to say we were not disappointed. We had the pleasure of Amy serving us. She made us feel like we have been coming here for years and was so warm and welcoming that we can’t wait to see her on our next visit. We were also very happy to meet the owner Wendy who had the same amazing spirit and made us feel at home. The food was unexpected and fulfilling and made with passion. The portions are more than ample and perfect for lunch the next day. When we told Amy we just moved to Delanson that day she made sure we met Wendy and left with a wonderful parting gift. If you live here or passing through, please make sure you visit Tarassa’s. You won’t be disappointed. "I have only tried their cold sub, but it was a good first impression. You get good value for the price, they give you a good amount of meat and everything tastes fresh. I would definitely try other things in their menu next time."

"After seeing their Facebook page, I decided to try the Wednesday night specials since I couldn't resist such amazing food offerings at bargain price of $10. Not only did I not regret that decision, but I went back a couple of weeks later as well. The first time I ordered the steamed clams. Nothing short of amazing. Ample serving that was enough to be a full meal for me. It came with an amazing crostini type bread to dip in the seasoned garlic butter sauce on the clams. I enjoyed my meal with a couple of tap beers that were also on special. I went back a couple of weeks later and was undecided as there were so many awesome choices but I decided to order The classic cheeseburger and fries. I'm so glad I did as it was one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. It had a flame grilled type flavor. Fries were hot and crispy. Mac salad was perfect. Ample portions that I could barely finish. People sitting near me at the bar top had the pizza and the wings, stating their meals were also very good. Shocking they are able to offer these for such reasonable prices. The atmosphere was fun and friendly. The bar top was full as were the tables in the bar area. Despite being very busy, my waitress, Crystal, was on her game. Efficient and taking the time to chat calling most people by name.The energy level was top notch. The owner, Wendy, was also making appearances checking on everyone to make sure everyone was happy. I highly recommend checking this place out. The full restaurant menu offers upscale dinners and ever-changing specials ranging from parm night to steak to classic Italian dishes with a twist. I spoke to some folks as I left that were coming out of the restaurant. They are local and say they frequent the restaurant at least twice a month. I can't wait to go back and try a full meal or perhaps go to trivia night that I see on Tuesdays. Don't sleep on this gem. High quality food at a reasonable price. Friendly engaging atmosphere. Hard working folks. Support local and enjoy some amazing food!"

"Pleasantly surprised! Hidden gem for sure. Everything is homemade and portions are ample. The wings are crispy and flavorful. Had sausage sub, homemade sub roll makes all the difference. Homemade sausage too, Mild and not overly spicy. Definitely going back."
